Hi! I'm Courtney, a third year Painting, Drawing and Printmaking student at Plymouth College of Art. 

The main focus of my work is the female form and looking at the shapes, shadows and contours of the body. I'm currently focusing on body positivity throughout my most recent module, and trying to incorporate a wide range of colour within it to celebrate the female form. 

I also have interests in a wide range of subjects from flowers and animals to looking into things such as mental health and how that can be portrayed in art.

I mainly use oil paints as I feel that it helps me portray what I am feeling and I find it really satisfying to use! Even though oils are my favourite I like to keep my mind open and I really like a multitude of materials like charcoal, graphite pencils, watercolours and screen printing.
